YWCA offers holistic support to survivors of gender-based violence through four key approaches. First, legal support is provided by connecting victims with lawyers who accompany them to court and advocate on their behalf throughout the legal process. Second, psychosocial support addresses trauma and stigma through counseling and emotional care, helping survivors regain their mental and emotional well-being. Third, YWCA facilitates medical support by partnering with hospitals and health centers that provide necessary treatment, with all related expenses covered by YWCA. Finally, once survivors begin to recover from trauma, they are offered economic support, including start-up funds, to help them reintegrate into their communities and rebuild their lives with dignity and independence.
